Danika had two healthy babies at VJH and both births ended up being more complicated than expected.
Her daughter, Maeva’s first few minutes of life were anything but perfect.
Born by C-section after a high-risk pregnancy, Maeva’s lungs were full of mucus, and she was struggling to breathe. Without missing a beat, Danika’s medical team whisked her baby across the room to a waiting Panda Warmer.
