Our Priorities

Supporting state-of-the-art healthcare for the North Okanagan

Originally, the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation’s main goal was to support the Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Today, we are on a mission to enhance the level of healthcare present in all IH healthcare facilities throughout the North Okanagan.

Working with Interior Health, we identify the areas that are in the most need of additional support. While government funding accounts for an exceptional level of financial support, it doesn’t cover everything. That’s where we come in. We want to harness our community’s passion and make sure that those underfunded projects can come to life much sooner than they might otherwise—improving the infrastructure present in our healthcare facilities.

The region that we support includes Armstrong, Coldstream, Enderby, Falkland, Lumby, Spallumcheen and Vernon. Additionally, one of the specialized health services we support is the Lions Vision Centre in Armstrong which cares for all patients from Lake Country to the Shuswap.
