VJH Foundation Gives $1,648,623 to Improve Health Care
Last year, Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation granted more than $1,600,000 to health care needs in the North Okanagan including $1,250,611 to Tower of Care Phase II; $112,003 to the Lions Vision Centre in Armstrong; $78,988 to Women’s & Children’s Health Services; $57,631 to residential care in Vernon, Armstrong, Enderby & Lumby, and $54,923 to the Emergency Department.
Funds were designated to furnish the 6th and 7th floors of Polson Tower, purchase equipment for VJH and IH facilities in the North Okanagan, and provide staff training and support for progrmas at VJH, IH-managed Residential Care Facilities and Community Health programs throughout the North Okanagan.
