Local Couple Gives A Thank You Gift For Good Care Received at VJH

In July, Joe and Martha Ryll made a generous $10,000 donation to Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation, recognizing the years of good care they have received at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.“I think that the Hospital is the best thing we ever had.  Staff treated my wife, my Mom and me very well” said Mr. Ryll.Suffering from Diabetes, a chronic disease, Joe recognizes the importance of having extra funds available to the Hospital to purchase new equipment to treat patients, like him, who suffer from long-term conditions, a result of illnesses like Heart Disease, Stroke, Diabetes and COPD.Martha shared, “It is not just about good care, but with many of us aging and so many new treatments, we wanted to do our part and give a bit to help purchase new equipment.  Every little bit helps!”Wanting to make a difference, Mr. & Mrs. Ryll made their donation to VJH Foundation, knowing that would be used in Vernon Jubilee Hospital to buy new medical equipment that will give hard working health care practitioners better tools to care for local people.Their gift has been designated donation to support the Ambulatory Care Department at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
