Anonymous $60,000 Donation to Tower of Care

Everybody likes a nice surprise and this week the VJH Foundation got one that everybody in the community can benefit from!  Anonymous donors came to the Foundation office with a $60,000 donation towards the Tower of Care Campaign.  As longtime residents, they expressed their heartfelt thanks for the care they have received over the years at VJH.Although these generous donors did not wish to be publicly recognized, their gift will have an impact on thousands of patients over the coming years, as it will fund three patient rooms on the 6^th and 7^th floors of Polson Tower.Patient rooms will feature double and single occupancy, providing enhanced patient privacy, individual bathrooms, space for family members, and improved infection control resulting in faster recovery times."We were grateful to have always gotten a bed when needed," they said.  “Everybody deserves a bed.”
