Donor Recognition

Our Donor Recognition Program has been developed as a way of saying thank you to our supporters in a personal way, and to publicly recognize the power of giving. Our Donor Wall is a tribute to community leaders who have come together to support the advancement of healthcare in Vernon and the North Okanagan.

Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation has several ways to recognize those who support Vernon Jubilee Hospital through the Foundation. Donors are categorized on a cumulative basis.

All of our donors are appreciated. Depending on the level of giving there are many benefits for our donors.

Personal Thank you letter and receipt
HeartBeat Newsletter subscription (1-4 years)
Certificate of Recognition based on cumulative giving level
Name listing in HeartBeat (minimum gift of $500 of more during reporting period)
Local Media release (minimum gift of $1,000 — by request)
Name on Donor Wall(s)
- Partners in Caring (cummulative giving)
- Heritage Society (Planned Gifts when we are notified)
- Memorial Wall (cumulative gifts in memory of an individual)

Partners in Caring

Those recognized on the "Partners in Caring" wall have made significant contributions to Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Donors will appear under the category for which their cummulative giving history reflects. If you are interested in having your name, business or organization added to this board contact the Foundation office. It would be our honour to welcome you to our commited "Partners in Caring."
Donors are recognized in the following giving levels.

$100,000 or more FOUNDER
$50,000 - $99,999 PATRON
$25,000 - $49,999 BENEFACTOR
$10,000 - $24,999 PARTNER
$5,000 - $9,999 FRIEND

In Memory of...

Gifts in memory of a loved one are kept on record. Each time a gift is made the next of kin is notified of the donor. By request, the next of kin are notified of the cummulative giving in the account. When a total of $1000 or more in memorial donations has been received, the loved one is recognized on the Memorial Recognition Wall. Friends and family may wish to ‘top up’ donations in order to have a plaque on the wall.

Heritage Society... a gift for the future.

The Heritage Society Donor Wall honours those individuals who have informed the Foundation of their planned giving intentions. Members receive Certificates of Recognition and a momento.
