Home Hardware VJH Charity Classic Raises $125,000 for the Building a Tower of Care Campaign.
Title sponsors Vernon Home Building Centre and Shepherd's Home Hardware were pleased with the end results of this major event, that was held at Predator Ridge on August 27th & 28th. 220 people shared an amazing gourmet meal under a tent set up on the driving range at the golf course. Tony Parsons was the Master of Ceremony for the evening and the highlight of the evening included moving words about the care at VJH from Emergency Nurse Patty Bunten, Dr Michael Concannon and Paralympian Josh Dueck.
"Thanks to the generosity of the many sponsors and participants the event netted $125,000 for the Tower of Care Campaign" said Val Harrison, Chairperson."Plans are already underway for next year's event. It will be tough to improve on the initial HH VJH Charity Classic!" said Harrison.
