Dalvir Nahal & the Punjabi Heritage Society Committee present a $7,911.11 cheque to Dr. Ed Hardy, Oncologist at VJH and Richard Rolke, VJH Foundation Board Member. The donation is to benefit the McMurtry Baerg Cancer Centre and assist with their upcoming expansion at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

Jimmy Nguyen of the RICE BOX plays with fire while cooking up numerous dinner orders to benefit the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation! Thanks to owner On Ouch and his staff who donated all of their wages and proceeds on Sunday January 8th to benefit both the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation and Cambodian Refugee Relief Organization. The sales for the day totalled $6,016.22, the Foundation will receive a $3,000 donation from the RICE BOX!
This is the third year that On and his staff have donated to the Foundation bringing their 3 year total to $9,441!
THANK YOU To Amy & Wit of BOA THONG Thai Food Restaurant for donating 3% of all sales from Sunday dinner, in 2011, to the Building a Tower of Care Campaign.
This resulted in a $1,250.00 donation

Alison Levorson, representing City of Vernon employees, presented a cheque for $2511 to Sue Beaudry, Director of Development for VJHFoundation. City staff made donations to have the priviledge of wearing jeans on Fridays in support of Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
Andrea Egan, Development Officer, receives a Light a Bulb donation from 13 year old Kai Rogers who has donated to the Light a Bulb Campaign for five years running, donating almost $1000! THANK YOU Kai!
