Community

Without the support of the community, some of the major diagnostic and surgical equipment would not be available at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.  We are grateful to the individuals, businesses and corporations, service clubs and community groups that have helped us to meet the urgent needs of our hospital.

 Summer 2008

Summer residents of Klub Kalamalka on Kalamalka Lake raised $655.00 for the Patient Comfort Fund of the VJH Cancer Centre, in honour of Jack & Bonnie Ayriss, two Cancer survivors.  On a beautiful summer's evening, complete with a perfect full moon, people raised the fundChilicookoff.jpgs by testing & rating 8 different Chilies. The meal was followed by the entertainment of a group of four young adults call "KINSHIRA" who performed a fire dance on the beach.
