Our community is fortunate to have the support of its citizens who sit voluntarily on our board of directors and dedicate so much of their personal time to the work of the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation. They understand the need of financial assistance from the community to cover the cost of equipment for Vernon Jubilee Hospital and its residential care facilities and work very hard to ensure our goals are attained.

The Board of Directors meets monthly for regular board meetings and elections are held at the annual general meeting. Each board member sits on at least one of the following committees:

The committee monitors the financial operations of Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation (VJHF) throughout the year. In addition, they oversee budget preparation, review monthly financial reports. Reviews and makes recommendations regarding securities, property and bequests to the VJHF board of directors.

Gary Holman Cheryl Tomiak Oversees the development of terms of references for restricted funds and acts as an advisory committee for requests of expenditures that are not on the capital equipment list. In addition, they monitor the restricted funds being held by the VJHF and annually review the existing policies of the VJHF, making recommendations to the board of directors, as needed.

The committee will recruit and review applications to the board for suitable candidates and make recommendations to the board of directors. They accept letters of interest throughout the year from interested community members and make their recommendations to the board of directors, according to available positions at that time.
